LL152 Inspection & Filing Process

1. Consultation

First, you'll speak with a JTG Project Manager to determine which community districts your buildings are located in and when their inspections are due.

2. Inspection

One of our specialized Local Law 152 Plumbers will complete an official inspection where he'll carefully review and evaluate your gas piping systems.

3. Corrections

We'll prepare the GPS1 report and, if needed, recommend a plumber from our trusted network. The GPS1 will contain detailed instructions on how to quickly & efficiently complete the necessary repairs to pass LL152 inspection.

4. LL152 Filing

After you or your plumber have submitted the completed corrections, we organize and structure a GPS2 report and submit it to the DOB for filing. We handle all communication with the DOB and only involve you if absolutely necessary.

5. Due Date Reminders

Your Project Manager keeps your buildings on file and will follow up with you in 4 years when your buildings are due again for inspection. JTG keeps your records for as long as you are a customer with us.

NYC Local Law 152 Plumbers

In order for your Local Law 152 inspection to be accepted by the NYC Department of Buildings (DOB), your gas piping inspection must be completed by a Licensed Master Plumber (LMP), or a qualified individual working under the direct and continuing supervision of a LMP. Inspections must be completed every 4 years.

Our team of plumbers are trained to spot both critical and non-critical LL152 gas pipe requirements. By discussing those non-critical flags with our customers, we can save you hefty repair costs.
